Reconstrucción en Constitución y Llico Prieto Peinado, María This paper aims to provide an alternative contribution through the construction of infrastructure for the common good as an opportunity to improve collective spaces that could be included in post-earthquake reconstruction plans for urban environments. This research is based on the project entitled “Post-27F Earthquake and Tsunami in Southern Chile: Urban Regeneration”, conducted in Constitución and Llico over the period 2013 to 2015. This study analyzes the key elements found in the spontaneous spatial appropriation processes that took place in emergency settlements and explores the special nature and mobility characteristics of this phenomenon. These elements are compared with new buildings in order to identify spatial-based strategies that may contribute to the improvement of neighborhoods and the construction of the city. Aportamos una posible alternativa a través de la construcción de infraestructuras de lo común como oportunidad para la mejora de los espacios colectivos, con el fin de ser incluidas en las estrategias de planes de reconstrucción post-catástrofes que afecten a entornos urbanos. La investigación está basada en el proyecto “Reconstrucción tras el terremoto/tsunami 27F en el sur de Chile: regeneración de barrios” realizado en las localidades de Constitución y Llico, durante el periodo 2013-2015. En ella se analizan las claves encontradas en los procesos espaciales espontáneos de apropiación, acontecidos en las aldeas de emergencia, indagando en el carácter espacial y en la movilidad, y en comparación con los condominios de nueva construcción, a fin de distinguir las tácticas espaciales para la mejora del barrio y la construcción de la ciudad.
