This has led to an increasing number of families living in precarious conditions, exposed to various illness and suffering from numerous ailments. In this work we analyze the speeches made in different local media, between the months of January and December 2017, by people living in informal settlements in the city who participated in different mobilizations. In them we see how the incidence of different pathologies associated with poor living conditions was exposed and “staged” in different actions of social protest, through which they managed to install their demands towards the State (health, land, work, housing, among others). Posadas es una ciudad que experimentó un aumento significativo en sus niveles de pobreza e indigencia en los últimos años, incrementándose por un lado la cantidad de asentamientos informales y, por el otro, la densidad demográfica de los ya existentes. Esto se tradujo en cada vez más familias que viven en condiciones de precariedad, expuestas a distintas enfermedades, sufriendo numerosos padecimientos. En este trabajo analizamos los discursos vertidos en distintos medios de comunicación locales, entre los meses de enero y diciembre de 2017, por personas que residen en asentamientos informales de la ciudad que participaron en distintas movilizaciones. En ellos vemos de qué modo la incidencia de distintas patologías asociadas a las malas condiciones de vida fue expuesta y “puesta en escena” en distintas acciones de protesta social, mediante las cuales lograron instalar sus demandas hacia el Estado (a la salud, a la tierra, al trabajo, a la vivienda, entre otros).
