In order to think about and approach the city in its own complexity, the proposal is, as a navigation chart, an approach based on four logics that constitute it: institutions, utopia, function and the inhabitants with their wishes. Each of them refers to a model or theory of the city in which this logic is dominant. In the referred models, taken mainly from the Latin American and Colombian city, their conception and materialization are examined according to particular worldviews (Pepper, 1972) and social bond discourses (Lacan, 2004). The proposed analysis does not forget that each of these logics examined are part of the city object and that they are related to each other in the midst of tensions and disagreements, that sometimes reaches agreements, but frequently, the divergence remains. |

Para pensar y abordar la ciudad en la complejidad que le es propia, se propone, a modo de carta de navegación, un acercamiento a partir de cuatro lógicas que la constituyen: la de las instituciones, la de la utopía, la de la función y la de los habitantes con sus deseos. Cada una de ellas se refiere a un modelo o teoría de ciudad en la que esa lógica es dominante. En los modelos referidos, tomados principalmente de la ciudad latinoamericana y colombiana, se examina su concepción y materialización de acuerdo con visiones de mundo (Pepper, 1972) y discursos del lazo social (Lacan, 2004) particulares. El análisis propuesto no olvida que cada una de esas lógicas examinadas hacen parte del objeto ciudad y que ellas se relacionan entre sí en medio de tensiones y desencuentros, que en ocasiones logran acuerdos, pero en otras, la divergencia permanece.
