Key words: project, design process, building. El presente artículo trata del análisis de la Biblioteca Pública Enric Miralles en Palafolls, Barcelona, 1997- 2007. El análisis sigue tres líneas que se complementan: una que responde por asociaciones a referentes arquitectónicos y artísticos; la segunda por una evolución gráfica del proceso de diseño y la última a partir de una interpretación directa en la obra. En el desarrollo del análisis serán abordadas algunas relaciones con Aalto, que se verifican en la obra, salvaguardando las diferencias de estilo en la expresión arquitectónica.
