Tóm tắt: | The idea of an inextricable relationship between work and its site, manifested in certain artistic manifestations, can be considered as a common concept to the alwaysclose fields of art and architecture. Nevertheless, it can not be characterized as a shared concept by art and architectural in general, but by specific artistic and architectonic statements, which make that notion an important part of their plastic research and action over reality. This paper approaches this question through the work of Álvaro Siza in Porto Alegre, the recently built Iberê Camargo Museum. It aims to recognize the notion of place in Sizas’s work as sustained not so much by the criteria of the cultural narratives, but in terms of a poetical action over space. Key words: Álvaro Siza, place, site-specific art. |
