El confinamiento obligatorio actual que se vive en México, debido a la enfermedad COVID-19, puede afectar a las personas física y/o psicológicamente, sobre todo a aquellas que nocuentan con el confort higrotérmico adecuado al interior de sus viviendas.La presente investigación estudia el caso de Poza Rica, Veracruz ciudad de clima cálidosubhúmedo, donde se tuvo como objetivo conocer el nivel de confort higrotérmico de laspersonas al interior de sus viviendas antes y durante el confinamiento obligatorio por SARSCoV-2, determinar las afectaciones físicas o psicologías que puede generar el confinamientoa los usuarios en una vivienda sin el adecuado confort higrotérmico; y por último, si haaumento el uso de sistemas activos de enfriamiento desde el inicio del confinamiento.Esta investigación, también ofrece una visión sobre las ventajas y desventajas de lasestrategias pasivas y activas existentes para lograr el confort adecuado, exponiendo criteriosy estudios realizados por diversos autores que servirán de referencia para analizar ambostipos de estrategias.
