In order to understand the problem in greater detail, theusefulness and operation of the so-called “clean points” or garbage separation containersand the habits in their handling by users are analyzed. This ethnographic work aims toshow how the cleaning, disinfection and disposal habits of the RCOVID-19 have changedfrom the home to the garbage collection points and in the spaces that are used inside the home to disinfect purchases or items. grooming routines. La crisis de salud provocada por la pandemia por COVID -19 ha puesto de manifiesto eldeficiente sistema de separación y recolección de basura en los “puntos limpios” deGuadalajara, la cual toma relevancia por la creciente generación de Residuos COVID -19(RCOVID -19) en las viviendas, generándose focos de infección al no estar diseñadospara funcionar en la actual crisis epidemiológica por coronavirus. Para comprender conmayor detalle la problemática, se analiza la utilidad y operatividad de los denominados“puntos limpios” o contenedores de separación de basura y los hábitos en su manejo porparte de los usuarios. Este trabajo de corte etnográfico pretende mostrar cómo hancambiado los hábitos de limpieza, desinfección y desecho de los RCOVID-19 de lavivienda a los puntos de recolección de basura y en los espacios que se emplean dentrode la vivienda para desinfectar las compras o las rutinas de aseo personal. Para finalmentepresentar algunas recomendaciones de especialistas de la salud, sobre el manejo másadecuado de los mismos a través de la realización de entrevistas.
