Summary:Natural heritage is a treasure in the long mexican territory, however, most of it is treated byunsustainable projects, bad tourism management, lack of scientific information, by ignoranceand gubernamental power abuse. This article describes the results of a research of the socialactors in Alchichica Lake in Tepeyahualco, Puebla. This lake is a crater-lake that is the homeof six endemic species, such as the stromatolits, which are considered to be the first livingorganisms in our planet.The reach of this research identifies and characterizes the social actors by defining who they are, theway they perceive tourism and the knowledge of the biological richness. The method strategy isqualitative focused in the observation and interviews in situ.
