الملخص:The landscape of Cosalá exudes magic in its heritage, however, in its urban structure thereare fear-generating spaces. Cosalá has been internationally recognized as a drug traffickingsite. Insecurity has been configured in the social imaginary of cosaltecos throughouthistory, violence focuses on the number of homicides, but inside it is recognized that it doesnot have a hospital and jail, however, it has a funeral home and three cemeteries. Due to itstopography, it has natural risks and is increased by the activation of mines, unemploymentand drug trafficking. The objective is to identify non-places and antiplaces from the imaginary of fear, theoretically by Marc Augé, Armando Silva, Alicia Lindón and Eloy Méndez. Thequalitative methodology allows mapping fear generating sites, identified in interviews, mental maps and structured observation; later it was typified by the space design (nonplacesand antiplaces). Finally, the golden rule of the tourist bubble by Daniel Hiernaux recognizes the interior ofthis sector, generally the traditional Historical Center, the coverage in infrastructure andbasic services, the same, when moving away from this they fade, increasing the uncertaintyand fear.
