Cosalá has been internationally recognized as a drug traffickingsite. Insecurity has been configured in the social imaginary of cosaltecos throughouthistory, violence focuses on the number of homicides, but inside it is recognized that it doesnot have a hospital and jail, however, it has a funeral home and three cemeteries. Due to itstopography, it has natural risks and is increased by the activation of mines, unemploymentand drug trafficking.The objective is to identify non-places and antiplaces from the imaginary of fear,theoretically by Marc Augé, Armando Silva, Alicia Lindón and Eloy Méndez. Thequalitative methodology allows mapping fear generating sites, identified in interviews, mental maps and structured observation; later it was typified by the space design (nonplacesand antiplaces).Finally, the golden rule of the tourist bubble by Daniel Hiernaux recognizes the interior ofthis sector, generally the traditional Historical Center, the coverage in infrastructure andbasic services, the same, when moving away from this they fade, increasing the uncertaintyand fear. El paisaje de Cosalá emana magia en su patrimonio, sin embargo, en su estructura urbanaguarda espacios generadores de miedo. Cosalá ha sido reconocido a escala internacionalcomo sitio del narcotráfico. La inseguridad se ha configurado en el imaginario social de loscosaltecos a través de la historia. La violencia se enfoca en el número de homicidios, perose reconoce que no dispone de hospital y cárcel; no obstante, existen funerarias y trescementerios. Según su topografía, tiene riesgos naturales que se incrementan por laactivación de minas, desempleo y narcotráfico.El objetivo consistió en identificar los no lugares y antilugares a partir del imaginario delmiedo, teóricamente por Marc Augé, Armando Silva, Alicia Lindón y Eloy Méndez. Lametodología cualitativa permitió mapear los sitios generadores de miedo, identificados enentrevistas, mapas mentales y observación estructurada; posteriormente se tipificó el miedopor el diseño del espacio (no lugares y antilugares).Finalmente, la regla de oro al retomar el concepto de burbuja turística, acuñado por DanielHiernaux, que reconoce el interior de este sector, en general el Centro Histórico tradicional,la cobertura en infraestructura y servicios básicos que, al alejarse de éste, se desvanecen,incrementándose la incertidumbre y el miedo.
