These are cities that artificially build a world dominated by the market and towersthat replace historical buildings, and that at the same time trigger the crisis of the public space,which causes a tear in the social and identity fabric in the residents. The concrete spaces thatmake the hipermodern cities are impersonal spaces and of circulation, experiencies which do notbuild nor signify, they are experiences of fluidity, change and not appropriation. This is thestarting point to denounce the increasing dissolution of the place, and with this the dissolution ofthe public space in the 21st century, by which it becomes necessary the ontological analysis ofthe place which allows the experiences of inhabiting, in the thought of Martin Heidegger. The tear of these spheres represents from the deep the crisis of inhabiting, which is not so much related to the lack of housing as to the fact of the loss of the essence of the inhabiting; in wordsof Heidegger, it is necessary to learn to inhabit first. El moderno desarrollo que permitió la creación y consolidación de la megalópolis y ciudadeshipermodernas, articuladas con de un sistema neoliberal que proclama el consumo y elindividualismo. Ciudades que construye artificialmente un mundo dominado por el mercado ytorres que sustituyen construcciones históricas, y que al mismo tiempo desencadena la crisis delespacio público, que produce un desgarro en el tejido social e identitario en los habitantes. Laconcreción de los espacios que constituyen las ciudades hipermodernas son espaciosimpersonales y de tránsito, experiencias que no construyen ni significan, se trata de experienciasde fluidez, cambio y no apropiación. Esto es el punto de partida para denunciar la crecientedisolución del lugar y con éste la disolución del espacio público en el siglo XXI, por lo que sehace necesario el análisis ontológico del lugar que permite las experiencias de habitar, en elpensamiento de Martin Heidegger. De fondo el desgarro de estas esferas representa de fondo a lacrisis del habitar, que no tiene que ver tanto con la falta de viviendas sino con el hecho de lapérdida de la esencia del habitar, a decir de Heidegger habrá que aprender primero a habitar.
