Without a doubt, we have all had to adapt to the changes required by the currentCOVID-19 pandemic. Human beings have diversified their habitat over time, definingexclusive spaces for rest, work, recreation, consumption, etc. and the current world situationforced us to adapt these spaces for new uses that perhaps before, were unthinkable. Withouta doubt, from a macro level as a city, to a micro level as a house or room, changes were madethat marked the beginning of the third decade of the century and that will not be exclusive tothe time that the pandemic lasts, many will define a new habitability for the decade and futureof human beings, as happened in its moment in the 14th century with the Black Death.Perhaps the most notorious example was the adaptability of housing, to a space of work,study, recreation, etc. such is the impact that it caused, that currently is rethinking its functionand the need for other spaces. A finales de la segunda década del siglo XXI, surgió en el mundo algo que vendría a cambiardrásticamente el día a día de los seres humanos y por consiguiente de su habitar, sin dudaalguna todos hemos tenido que adaptarnos a los cambios requeridos de la actual pandemiapor COVID-19. Los seres humanos han diversificado el habitar a través del paso del tiempo,definiendo espacios exclusivos para el descanso, trabajo, recreación, consumo, etc. y la actualsituación mundial nos obligó a adaptar dichos espacios para nuevos usos que quizás antes de,eran impensables. Sin duda desde un nivel macro como ciudad, hasta un nivel micro comovivienda o habitación, se sufrieron cambios que marcaron el inicio de la tercera década delsiglo y que no serán exclusivos del tiempo que la pandemia dure, muchos definirán una nuevahabitabilidad para la década y futuro de los seres humanos, como ocurrió en su momento enel siglo XIV con la peste negra. Quizás el ejemplo más notorio fue la adaptabilidad de lavivienda, a un espacio de trabajo, de estudio, de recreación, etc. tal es el impacto que provocó,que actualmente se replantea su función y la necesidad de otros espacios.
