In the last twenty years the asymmetries of access to the city and conditions of inequality are accentuated in Latin America. In the global city, urban vulnerability is the result of a development based on an open economy and a state weakened by the functioning of the global market, diminishing or privatizing social benefits. The results of the CONAVI-CONACYT research carried out in three cities of Mexico are used.
