The use of metaphors is an important aspect to understand large processes about the historic configuration in the cities, and as well as their developments. The idea of the city as a chessboard alludes to a blueprint of limited space but with many movements to strengthen the unit of the political and military powers to support the absolutism. The rhetoric of the labyrinth keeps the mystic in forking paths with the options to come back to the starting point. The perception of the labyrinth as a simile of the industrial cities frames the beginning of a model from a dispersed city and its linear area. The subjective causes from the experience of living in the city stablish themself in other place, not only as a sort of collection of stories or the immediate narration but from the city imaginaries. The shade of a mirror is overlapped to guess the spirits of the city imaginaries, the city is its reflection, something that is and wants to be.
