Este texto examina etnográficamente a la comunidad nahua de San Miguel Canoa (Puebla) a manera de pueblo urbano producto de la relación sociocultural diferenciada entre un territorio propio (pueblo) frente a un territorio externo (ciudad) que simultáneamente se integran por medio de la movilidad y el trabajo sin abandonar la lengua original y realizando apropiaciones sociales del tiempo que conforman novedosas expresiones socioterritoriales urbano-indígena en el contexto de metropolización de la ciudad de Puebla y globalización en general.
