This work arises from an ethnographic work has been carried out from 2018 in European cities: Madrid, Rome and Paris. It is particularly in visits to cities in other countries where the influence of places charge greater expression. This is not only for the beauty of the place but for social recognition that this implies for the tourists. This recognition is also related to certain rituals and positions that will be displayed on various media printed or electronic as "proof" of veracity, and as a mechanism for creating idealized identity. The methodology followed was to observe and interview some tourists at specific points of the already mentioned cities. In interviews we go back from the Organization of the trip, which means planning itineraries, routes and rituals, to their respective impacts on the identity of travellers. Partimos de dos hechos: la turistificación de la vida cotidiana y el que nuestro habitar ciudades sólo tiene sentido en función de la significación de lugares. Así, la correlación de lugares y turismo es el binomio que trataremos de explicar. Nos va a preocupar el joventurista universitario, convertido en viajero y en extraño de una ciudad. El presente trabajo surge de una labor etnográfica que sec ha venido realizando desde 2018 en ciudades europeas: Madrid, Roma y Paris. Es particularmente en la visita a ciudades de otros países donde el influjo de los lugares cobra mayor expresión. Ello es así no sólo por la belleza del lugar sino por el reconocimiento social que esto implica para los turistas. Dicho reconocimiento se relaciona también con ciertos rituales y posturas que serán exhibidas en diversos medios impresos o electrónicos como “prueba” de veracidad y como mecanismo de creación de identidades idealizadas. La metodología seguida fue observar y entrevistar a algunos turistas en puntos específicos de las urbes ya señaladas. En las entrevistas nos remontamos desde la organización del viaje, lo cual implica planear itinerarios, trayectos y rituales, hasta sus correspondientes impactos en la identidad de los viajeros.
