Since the emergence of tourist destinations, their territorial conformationshowed a marked segregation, since they are cities with great urban contrasts, on the onehand the bubbles of the tourist paradise are located and on the other the poverty strips. Theeconomy of the state of Guerrero is fundamentally supported by tourism, with the currentpandemic it is in a very critical situation, because work activities cannot be carried outremotely, placing tourist cities in high vulnerability due to the great loss of jobs. Guerrerois one of the entities which concentrates the largest amount of population in poverty andextreme poverty, it is also the state where the highest index of population living in
overcrowding is located; so to apply the restrictions indicated by the authorities of "stay athome" and "keep the healthy distance" by the covid-19, it is very difficult to carry themout. |
