Papers Allusive to research related to civil engineering, specifically in the areas of structures, water and wastewater, construction engineering, and applied to engineering education, were presented. With a total of fourteen approved presentations and four lectures given by experts in the different topics addressed A través del presente ensayo, se esboza el acontecer de las I Jornadas de Investigación de Ingeniería Civil y Urbanismo UCLA 2015, la cual se desarrolló durante los días 15 y 16 de marzo del 2016, en las instalaciones del decanato de Ingeniería Civil de la Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado. Se presentaron ponencias alusivas a trabajos de investigación relacionados a ingeniería civil, específicamente en las áreas de estructuras, hidráulica y sanitaria, ingeniería de construcción y enseñanza aplicada a la ingeniería. Con una totalidad de catorce presentaciones aprobadas y cuatro conferencias magistrales dictadas por expertos en las distintas temáticas abordadas.
