These buildings are at the same time the center of religious meetings and the main part of the social life of the communities in the area. Adding that they have endured over time beyond the alterations they have had. The objective of this work is to highlight the architectural-religious heritage value from the analysis of the materialization of two case studies, in the community of Campo de La Paz and Poscaya, belonging to the Municipality of Nazareno, province of Salta, in the Argentine northwest. This will be done through a comparative analysis between the buildings -church and oratory- in terms of their implementation, technology used, morphology and territorialization that these spaces forge in the communities. The methodology used has included the technical record of the buildings for subsequent signing. At the same time, a field work was carried out with an ethnographic approach where, through semi-structured interviews with the inhabitants, not only the constructive history is revealed, but also the looks and senses that these buildings have for the inhabitants of the place. Muchos de los edificios patrimoniales religiosos en el norte argentino han sido realizados a través de diversas técnicas y tecnologías constructivas con tierra, cuyas variaciones están asociadas a los entramados sociales donde son producidas. Estas edificaciones son al mismo tiempo centro de reuniones religiosas, y parte principal de la vida social de las comunidades en el área. Hay que sumar a esto, al hecho de que ellos han perdurado a lo largo del tiempo más allá de las alteraciones que han tenido. El objetivo del presente trabajo es poner de manifiesto el valor patrimonial arquitectónico-religioso, a partir del análisis de la materialización de dos casos de estudio, en la comunidad de Campo de La Paz y Poscaya, pertenecientes al Municipio de Nazareno, provincia de Salta, en el noroeste argentino. Esto se hará a través de un análisis comparativo entre los edificios -iglesia y oratorio-, en cuanto a su implantación, tecnología empleada, morfología y la territorialización que estos espacios forjan en las comunidades. La metodología empleada ha incluido el registro técnico de los edificios para su posterior fichaje. A su vez, se realizó un trabajo de campo con un enfoque etnográfico, donde a través de entrevistas semi-estructuradas a los pobladores se pone de manifiesto no solo la historia constructiva, sino también las miradas y sentidos que estos edificios tienen para los habitantes del lugar.
