要約:This article aims to explain the benefits that a community had to have many sources of water. These privileges impacted the history and configuration Tochimilco village ́s during the early colonial years and transcended favorably responsible building solutions to capture, drive, distribute or store water for the enjoyment of its residents. Also, the Franciscans were one of the main beneficiaries of water and they built up hydraulic systems in order to provide water to their convent. This research has in the interest of architecturally understand the technological aspects and constructive solutions that emerged in the New Spain village’s for water use. These points were indispensable in the Tochimilco village ́s for agricultural development, social stability and fairness in the divisions of water from the xvi century.
