| Resumo: | One of the great challenges at universities is the introduction of technological innovations in teaching and learning process, which instructs students to understand new techniques and tools that can be used in professional life. This article describes strategies for a discipline of management in the Architecture and Urbanism course of Federal University of Santa Catarina, which involves practices for the use of BIM (Building Information Modelling) tools, which involves planning of projects and buildings, mainly for budget. The discipline involved in the research is Technology of Buildings IV (TEC IV), of the 6th phase of the course. The method used was applied in semesters 2016/1 and 2017/1. Data collection included the preliminary application of a game called LEAPCON Game and later the development of practical activities related to quantities takeoff for budgeting using BIM. The results indicate that collaboration among students and the quality of modeling are essential for the success of the quantities for budgeting using BIM. Furthermore, the use of these tools in classroom collaborates to prepare students to act in the job market. |
