| Zusammenfassung: | Starting from the widely known idea of “classic”, as in the expression “a classical book”, this article offers a detailed analysis of the new edition of the book Registro de uma Vivência of the Brazilian architect Lúcio Costa. This new edition has a postface by the historian and philosopher Sophia da Silva Telles, who proposes (paratextually) new protocols for reading the work, understanding it as a “classical work”. In this sense, the discussion is established through the comparison of the new edition of the book Registro de uma Vivência with the two editions of Sobre Arquitetura, a book organized by Alberto Xavier in the 1960’s and publisehd again in the 1990’s. |
