As the urban development of the districts crossed by these streams increased, they were put into pipes and buried, so that nowadays they disappeared completely. Now, the lakes are the only way the water transported by these streams can participate in the landscape. However, some residues of the concealment process left on the ground denunciate the presence of the streams. The case studies of Ibirapuera and Aclimação parks reveal possibilities to connect those important open spaces making use of the residues associated to the streams that feed their lakes. Doing so, new alternatives for pedestrian and cyclist are improved and the keeping alive of the site memory is achieved as well. Los lagos de los parques publicos de São Paulo son muy prestigiados por los frequentadores, pero los arroyos a ellos relacionados, aunque sean responsables por la formación de aquellos valores paisajisticos, no lo son. La urbanización de los sitios casi siempre llevó a entubar y enterrar los arroyos. Así, éstos desaparecieron por completo del paisaje urbano, quedando solamente los lagos como protagonistas. Mientras tanto, hay todavía vestigios de las intervenciones hechas para ocultarlos que les denunciam la presencia. La investigación de los parques Ibirapuera y Aclimação apunta la posibildad de unir éstos importantes espacios de ocio de la ciudad través los recorridos de los arroyos asociados a sus respectivos lagos. Intentase así ofrecer alternativas para peatones y ciclistas como también la oportunidad de vivificar la memoria de los sitios. Ao prestígio dos lagos situados nos principais parques urbanos da cidade de São Paulo, contrapõe-se o desconhecimento ou o descaso em relação aos córregos responsáveis pela formação daqueles valores paisagísticos. À medida que se processou a urbanização dos bairros cortados por esses cursos d'água, eles foram tubulados e enterrados a ponto de desaparecerem por completo. Hoje, apenas pelos lagos suas águas participam da paisagem. No entanto, restam, no caminho, resíduos das operações de ocultação que denunciam a presença dos córregos. Os estudos realizados para os casos dos parques do Ibirapuera e da Aclimação revelam as possibilidades de unir esses dois importantes espaços de lazer dos paulistanos por meio dos percursos dos córregos que alimentam os respectivos lagos. Desse modo, abrem-se não só alternativas para pedestres e ciclistas, mas também oportunidades para vivificar a memória dos sítios. Universidade de São Paulo.
