| Tóm tắt: | This essay addresses a rich, but still widely uncharted subject in the History of Modern Architecture: the presence or influence of XIXth Century Romanticism in the work of Frank Lloyd Wright. Firstly we discuss how Wright's organic architecture was influenced by the rise of Worship of Nature in early 1800s, together with the writings of Emerson, Whitman and Thoreau. Furthermore, we discuss how Morris' revered inspiration in medieval England and the current archaeological discoveries inspired Wright in his search of a new, original art expressing the roaring times he lived.
