Description
Summary:The central object of this text is to reflect upon the concept of monument and its reproducibility, carried out through photographic register diffusion, strongly enhanced by sites. This hypothesis was the starting point to direct the analysis: the socialization of monuments does not destroy the enchantment of their physical presence, meaning that they do not compete with the architecture that is seen as a reality of which the realization is space. To show how pertinent such a hypothesis is, the text discusses the concept of monument, focuses on the new media supports and their power to popularize the monument, and shows how the magnetic images are created even before architectural concretization.
