They are exposed and they analyzed, in second instance, diverse essential and means of the planning that behaves at the same time as it bases conceptual. And, they recreate, in third instance, diverse approaches of the development, allowing to collect constituent senses of an integral notion. Para acercarse al significado de la planeación para el desarrollo integral del territorio, se traza la siguiente ruta temática: se identifican, en primera instancia, las principales implicaciones que al considerar el contexto global-local, inciden en la época contemporánea en los procesos de desarrollo, haciendo relevante la perspectiva territorial; se exponen y analizan, en segunda instancia, diversos sentidos esenciales de la planeación que se comportan, al mismo tiempo, como base conceptual; y, se recrean, en tercera instancia, diversos enfoques del desarrollo, permitiendo allegar sentidos constituyentes de una noción integral.
