Sumario: | Infrastructural networks are usually built from a new technology that can be inserted in the urban territory. After years the infrastructural networks becomes a necessity for the city; the networks evolve, demonstrating their relevance to the city. Bogota’s aqueduct network was built in 1888; it showed constant development and transformation up until the 1950’s. The network can be read as an example of the city’s modernization process, a product of Bogota’s urban planning and investments in infrastructures. |
