This exercise consists on an architectural project developed from an inquiry about the contemporary city, and its location is proposed in Bogotá city, as an example. The project is a critical exercise about the sprawl urban expansion which effect disables the possibility of improvement of collective transport systems, increases city building costs, magnifies the social fracture in the territory and intensifies the environmental emergency caused by the fumes of vehicles that must carry out exhausting itineraries. The hybrid project answers to these problems with more inhabitants densification and typological diversity in housing as a reflection of social diversity; more presence and variety of urban program to endow it of metropolitan character; environmental considerations that tend to the rational use of the energies. El texto es la síntesis del proyecto de grado “Manzana de Concentración - Hibridación múltiple en la ciudad fragmentaria”. Este ejercicio consiste en un proyecto arquitectónico que se desarrolla a partir de una indagación sobre la ciudad contemporánea, y cuya localización se propone en Bogotá, como ejemplo de ésta. El proyecto es un ejercicio crítico sobre la expansión urbana cuyo resultado imposibilita la optimización de sistemas colectivos de transporte, incrementa los costos de construcción de la ciudad, magnifica la fractura social en el territorio e intensifica la emergencia ambiental por los gases de vehículos que realizan itinerarios prolongados. El proyecto híbrido responde a estos problemas con mayor densidad de población y diversidad tipológica en vivienda como reflejo de la diversidad social, mayor presencia y riqueza del programa urbano para dotarlo de carácter metropolitano, y consideraciones medio-ambientales que propendan por el uso racional de las energías.
