It is tried, then, to contribute new elements about population growth and the migrations to this territory, with the intention to evidence the strong relation between housing-growth and migrations. El presente artículo busca analizar el panorama desde donde se produce el tema de la vivienda en Bogotá, enmarcado por la iniciativa reciente (2004) por conformar la Región Central, RC, del país, y la información recopilada por equipos de trabajo interdisciplinario, en un par de investigaciones realizadas desde el Centro de Extensión Académica, CEA, de la Facultad de Artes. Se pretende, pues, aportar nuevos elementos sobre el crecimiento poblacional y las migraciones a este territorio, con el objeto de evidenciar los fuertes lazos entre vivienda-crecimiento y migraciones.
