Today the metropolis represents dominant demographic concentrations, where diverse urban activities and technological advances promise better levels of well-being. Simultaneously territorial problems and differences, are generating contradictory spaces we call “dichotomizing”. Along with this, it is the accelerated population increase, that results in the production of a “premature metropolis” this study will elaborate upon further. Las metrópolis, hoy día, representan concentraciones demográficas dominantes, donde se agrupan diversos satisfactores urbanos y adelantos tecnológicos que prometen mejores niveles de bienestar, pero que también producen múltiples problemas territoriales y diferencias en la habilitación del suelo, generando, no solo espacios diferenciados y contradictorios, a los que llamamos dicotómicos, sino también crecimiento demográfico acelerado, que en la sobremodernidad líquida es la base de origen en la producción de lo que aquí se llama una “metrópoli prematura”. Hoje as metrópoles representam concentrações demográficas dominantes, onde estão agrupados numerosos satisfatores urbanos e adiantamentos tecnológicos, que prometem melhores níveis de bem-estar; mas também se produzem numerosos problemas territoriais e diferencias na habilitação do solo gerando, além de espaços diferenciados e contraditórios chamados dicotômicos, um crescimento demográfico acelerado, que na hipermodernidade líquida é a base da origem na produção do que neste artigo recebe o nome de “metrópole prematura”.
