| Zusammenfassung: | The Cuban municipality of Mayarí plays an important role in the socio-productive relations of the country and implements an Integral Development Program (PDI) since 2011. For this, it developed an instrument not contemplated in the system of plans for land use planning, called the General Plan of Territorial Organization of the Economic Productive Base. This has produced changes in the use of agricultural land, industry and technical infrastructures through the optimization of potential, transforming the productive base of the municipality from agroindustrial to agricultural, aspect considered its greatest contribution, as well as influencing the improvement of the natural, social and economic local systems. |
