Omschrijving
Samenvatting:To update the results of doctoral theses and using as motivation the brilliant approach of Jane Jacobs that she recommends before changing a city or intervening in it, knowing it, deciphering its dynamics, discovering its vitality, this reflection article is written in which some problematizing questions -very far from being all the possible ones- are presented, about realities considered social determinants for planning, due to their complexity. Specifically, the criminal dynamics of drug trafficking, the venereal territories, and the besieged, and a brief mention of the wasted lives. Likewise, it is located in the concrete reality of Bogotá and uses, as a source of information, the visit made to ten localities in order to update data for the new Master Plan. This included workshops, interviews and work with the community. The results, as problematization, turn out to be a provocation to remember a perspective that forces us to rethink ourselves.
