Descripció
Sumari:San Pablo, in the south of the department of Bolívar, presents territorial conflicts due to the diverse interests and power relations that occur in that geographical space. This cannot be entirely understood without considering water as a factor that directly influences the construction of the territory. This document addresses two fundamental aspects of territoriality in the Cimitarra river: the relationship of the peasants with water in their daily lives and the palm oil monoculture, which is linked to water under a purely economic vision. The analytical development of these two aspects is fundamental to understand the different territorial constructions the actors make in the same geographic space and the conflicts that arise from them.
