This generates a series of changes on the exploitation of the territory, of a socioeconomic nature, that contri- butes to the degradation of the natural and urban environment. It is necessary to propose di erent ways of understanding cities and their adjacent natural areas, based on systemic and holistic approaches, with which it is feasible to identify and unders- tand the various interactions between natural, so- cial, economic and cultural elements at di erent scales in time and space. Urbanization has caused profound changes due to the way in which human beings relate to their environment. Cities have evolved and transformed structurally and functionally with unexpected results, which are manifested in high levels of social segregation and spatial.fragmen- tation. Centro Universitario de Arte, Arquitectura y Diseño 2019-12-18 info:eu-repo/semantics/article info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion Peer-reviewed article Artículo evaluado por pares application/pdf https://www.revistavivienda.cuaad.udg.mx/index.php/rv/article/view/105 10.32870/rvcs.v0i6.105 Vivienda y Comunidades Sustentables; No 6 (2019): Housing and Sustainable Communities; 9-30 Vivienda y Comunidades Sustentables; Núm. 6 (2019): Vivienda y Comunidades Sustentables; 9-30 2594-0198 10.32870/rvcs.v0i6 spa https://www.revistavivienda.cuaad.udg.mx/index.php/rv/article/view/105/105
