The objective of this work is to determine the eco-indicators of a brickyard of the Ribera de Cupía of the Municipality of Chiapa de Corzo, Chiapas, based on the method adopted by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, which establishes the calculation method for eco-indicators such as: water consumption, energy requirement, the contribution to global warming, the generation of solid waste, to be used in the implementation of a strategy of continuous improvement. The mechanical characteristics of the bricks were also analyzed by testing the resistance to compres- sion in the Materials Laboratory of the Faculty of Architecture of the Autonomous University of Chiapas, and comparing them with the corres- ponding standards to know the brick quality. The results obtained based on the net bene t of the brickyard are as follows: the water consumption was 3.51 x 10-5 m3/$; the energy requirement was 8.93 x 10-4 MWh/$; the contribution to global war- ming was 7.18 x 10-4 ton of CO2/$ and the solid waste generated was 5.64 x 10-2 kg/$. La fabricación del ladrillo en la zona centro de Chiapas presenta problemas de contaminación ambiental, gran requerimiento energético y baja resistencia a la compresión. El objetivo de este trabajo es determinar los ecoindicadores de una ladrillera de la Ribera de Cupía del municipio de Chiapa de Corzo, Chiapas, tomando como base el método adoptado por la United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, que establece la forma de cálculo de los ecoindicadores, como son: consumo de agua, requerimiento energético, la contribución al calentamiento global, la generación de residuos sólidos, para utilizarlos en la implementación de una estrategia de mejora continua. También se analizaron las características mecánicas de los ladrillos mediante la prueba de la resistencia a la compresión en el Laboratorio de Materiales de la Facultad de Arquitectura de la Universidad Autónoma de Chiapas, comparándolos con las normas correspondientes para conocer la calidad del ladrillo.  Los resultados obtenidos con base en el valor agregado neto de la ladrillera son los siguientes: el consumo de agua fue de 3.51 x 10-5 m3/$; el requerimiento energético fue de 8.93 x 10-4 MWh/$; la contribución al calentamiento global fue de 7.18 x 10-4 ton de CO2/$.
