These arguments reinforce the urgent need for the implementation of an architectural product (the mobile classroom) that would provide a livability solution for children of the initial level in areas of extreme poverty where neither the State has coverage nor the private sector is interested. It begins with the background and a brief theoretical framework that allows the description of the problem; Finally, this problem is attempted to be solved through a hypothesis that is embodied in an architectural design proposal called “mobile classroom”. Design that follows the recommendations of the Peruvian regulations and that gathers the experiences of other places that have had the same need, but adequate to the reality of a town called La Shilla, on the outskirts of the city of Cajamarca-Peru. En el presente ensayo se esgrimen argumentos arquitectónicos y educativos como una exigencia puntual ante el requerimiento urgente de poblaciones educativas de primera infancia en zonas vulnerables peruanas. Dichos argumentos refuerzan la necesidad urgente de la implementación de un producto arquitectónico (el aula móvil) que daría solución de habitabilidad a niños del nivel inicial en zonas de pobreza extrema donde ni el Estado tiene cobertura ni al sector privado le interesa. Se inicia con los antecedentes y un breve marco teórico que permite la descripción del problema; finalmente, dicho problema se intenta resolver a través de una hipótesis que se plasma en una propuesta de diseño arquitectónico denominado “aula móvil”. Diseño que sigue las recomendaciones de la normativa peruana y que recoge las experiencias de otros lugares que han tenido la misma necesidad, pero adecuadas a la realidad de una localidad denominada la Shilla, en la periferia de la ciudad de Cajamarca-Perú.
