From a tangible point of view, the gastronomic architecture of Lima with local cultural identity corresponds to an architecture related to local history, a mixed (both stereotomic and tectonic) volume, a comprehensive and semi-permeable human scale, a central space, and typical regional materials and colors. Regarding the symbolic aspect, the relevant concepts are the baroque style, tradition and fiesta, which link local gastronomy to multiethnicity, a variety of products, roots in the past and social celebration.   Como manifestación cultural, la arquitectura gastronómica remite a una identidad de origen. El boom gastronómico peruano ha propiciado el diseño de una arquitectura gastronómica con identidad cultural local en algunos restaurantes de Lima moderna. A ella corresponden, en lo material, tipos arquitectónicos afines a la historia local, volumen mixto (estereotómico y tectónico a la vez), escala humana, envolvente semipermeable y espacio central, así como materiales y colores típicos de la región. En lo simbólico, corresponden los conceptos barroco, tradición y festivo, que relacionan la gastronomía local con la diversidad multiétnica, la riqueza de productos, las raíces en el pasado y la celebración social.
