New techniques and construction systems constituted novel scales, functions, appearances and symbols, which stimulated the work of the builders of the Mexican Modern Movement. Through the deductive method, the objective was to demonstrate the technological assembly experienced by Architecture, by using materials, both industrial and local. And, with it, to demonstrate that the product of this integration highlighted buildings of remarkable aesthetic and utilitarian dominance. The results concluded that the theories of European and North American architects gestated the stylistic searches of Mexican builders. La tecnología constructiva del siglo XX, tuvo un alto impacto en la morfología arquitectónica. Nuevas técnicas y sistemas constructivos constituyeron novedosas escalas, funciones, apariencias y símbolos, que estimularon el quehacer de los constructores del Movimiento Moderno Mexicano. A través del método deductivo, el objetivo fue demostrar el ensamble tecnológico que experimentó la Arquitectura, al emplear materiales, tanto industriales como locales. Y, con ello, demostrar que el producto de esta integración destacó edificios de notable dominio estético y utilitario. Los resultados concluyeron que las teorías de los arquitectos europeos y norteamericanos, gestaron las búsquedas estilísticas de los constructores mexicanos. A tecnologia construtiva do século XX teve um alto impacto na morfologia arquitetônica. Novas técnicas e sistemas de construção constituíram novas escalas, funções, aparências e símbolos, o que estimulou o trabalho dos construtores do Movimento Moderno Mexicano. Através do método dedutivo, o objetivo foi demonstrar a montagem tecnológica vivenciada pela Arquitetura, utilizando materiais industriais e locais. E, com isso, demonstrar que o produto dessa integração destacou edifícios de notável domínio estético e utilitário. Os resultados concluíram que as teorias dos arquitetos europeus e norte-americanos geraram as buscas estilísticas dos construtores mexicanos.
