Sumario:Starting from a semantic construction of the experience of living, the intertextuality referred to the chronotopic view of the Caribbean house is reflected on the cultural importance of the formation of places and their aesthetic relationship as an image in Colombian literature. The Caribbean house is a geo-symbolic device, which transcends physical-spatial values, and denotes its anthropological and social character, representing the embodiment of a certain culture, which is verbalized through the collective imagination, in a literature necessary to capture and externalize the strength of a geographic and cultural space-time.
