Sumario:This article is a reflection about the values of Modern Movement architecture in Colombia, in order to end the transformation and destruction of the architectural heritage built in the greater part of the 20th century. This process is partially illustrated through a couple of research projects carried out in Bogotá and in four studies of its adjacent provinces; in which is present the loss of good modern buildings and – what is worse – the loss of the modern tradition.
