總結:In this article the religious architecture is approached from the perspective of cultural history, in order to make a methodological contribution to the study of the processes that led to the establishment of a religious architecture in the New Granada (now Colombia), territory in which there were no formal artistic production circuits. Taking distance from a historiography based on the analysis of the form and its taxonomic classification, documentary research is favored as the main methodological tool. The culturalist reading of documents that account for the construction of the church of Pacho (Cundinamarca) contributes to the understanding of the structure of production systems in Granada territory. The text recognizes some of the main trades involved in construction (bricklayer, carpenter) and shows the hierarchical ranks within each trade that allowed the circulation of ideas and knowledge.
