要約:Among the different particular variations of teaching in modernity, possibly the organic has been one of the least reviewed within historiography, among other reasons for its wide variety of definitions, their variants and contradictions over time. This article intends to use the concept of organic as an analysis platform that allows us to renew our view of the architect’s work and role, in order to analyze a particular architectural trend, which took place since the 1960s, within the context of university education at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism, National University of La Plata. A journey is proposed from the problems of the organic in historiography to the arrival of ideas in Argentina, and relevant aspects of the subject of Alfredo C. Casares and Carlos Lenci, in order to analyze how the concept of organic was reinterpreted with local conditions, and the relationship between theory and practice in house buildings.
