Descripción
Summary:At the end of the 19th century, a large number of villages arose over the bonaerense territory as a consequence of the railways development, meanwhile the occupation of the sea coast was almost initial. The creation of the first railways-port convergence point in this coast, on the Blanca bay, only 7 kilometers away from the Bahía Blanca city, would do arise a spontaneous settlement. Although this village was born at the “edge” of one bigger city, through the dynamism of its earlier years, it could forge its own “central” spirit. This implied growth, transformations and extension of its street plan, which derived in a complex urban configuration related to its scale. Whit the study of the logic of this successive changes, starting whit the analysis of its initial structure and understanding it as essential because the posterior actions would be defined as a dialectic consequence, this work propose as aims to add knowledge about the urbanism history of the port-city and to comprehend its process of construction and transformation.
