This analysis focuses on films set in Mexico City El cine, como otras formas narrativas, ha intentado aprehender desde su origen la diversidad y complejidad que caracterizan la vida en las grandes ciudades. En este texto proponemos un recuento (no exhaustivo) de cintas corales, a partir del cual se identifican formatos, recursos narrativos, lugares y anécdotas que han utilizado los cineastas para cumplir con este objetivo tanto en la ficción como en el documental. El análisis enfatiza el caso de la Ciudad de México.
