Résumé:The health crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has revealed the deficient system ofgarbage separation and collection in the “clean points” of Guadalajara, which is relevantdue to the growing generation of COVID-19 Waste (RCOVID- 19) in homes, generatingsources of infection as they are not designed to function in the current epidemiologicalcrisis due to coronavirus. In order to understand the problem in greater detail, theusefulness and operation of the so-called “clean points” or garbage separation containersand the habits in their handling by users are analyzed. This ethnographic work aims toshow how the cleaning, disinfection and disposal habits of the RCOVID-19 have changedfrom the home to the garbage collection points and in the spaces that are used inside the home to disinfect purchases or items. grooming routines.
