總結:The use of intelligent 3D model processes such as Building Information Modeling (BIM) represents an interesting and promising tool to be applied extensively in academic curricular components of Civil Engineering courses. In this paper, we have explored a new analysis’ method for identification of interfaces between conventional courses of Civil Engineering and BIM. Particularly, the study focuses on undergraduate course of Civil Engineering of Federal University of Sao Francisco Valley – Brazil. Studying  the curriculum components four different categories were analyzed: (a) the relation between the course and BIM; (b) convenient contents of modeling to be applied in class; (c) discussion about phases of building life cycle; (d) building design and applications. It was found that the method can be used to identify when in the educational process and within disciplines, BIM can be discussed and worked. Additionally, the method can highlight gaps and needs of new curriculum components in order to discuss specific aspects of modeling, contributing to the adoption of BIM in undergraduate courses of Civil Engineering and Architecture, as well as in related areas.
